Why have my desktop Icons & colours changed?
Mint 17 Mate: Various icons & colours on my desktop have changed without any intention on my part. My settings in System > Preferences > Appearance are unaltered, yet the actual appearance is different. Is this something that has been included in an update-manager package? In most cases I accept the recommended updates though I seldom know what they're really about. But I didn't expect any of them to alter my personally chosen settings. I'd like my familiar desktop features back. Any advice or info on this?
