When I log in to my Mate desktop I get a number "unable to start <application> on panel" messages. I then click though these and the apps get started. Funny thing is that the apps are different each time. Sometimes it's just 1 or 2 ... other times it's the whole works. Very odd, and a complete pain. I'm running mate 1.18.
