I'm not sure if this is a fault or not, so I thought I would ask first.
I use a KVM switch to share screen, keyboard and mouse between two PCs. If I'm using the PC NOT running Mint and I power on the Mint PC the login screen is in low resolution. With Mint 17.2 MATE (32-bit version) when I log on the resolution returns to the desired setting - no problem. I have just installed Mint 18.3 MATE (64-bit) and, when I log onto that, the screen resolution remains low. So far, the only way I know to fix it is to reboot that machine.
Is there a better way than that and is this a regression/bug or like that by design?
Thanks.
