Hi,
I'd like for the screen to be locked when my computer resumes from sleep, but not when the screen saver is active.
In Screensaver Preferences, if I leave 'Lock screen when screensaver is active' unchecked, no password is required when the screen saver is active. Unfortunately, no password is required when resuming from sleep, either. Checking that box makes the password required in both instances.
So far, I've found other threads suggesting to change some settings through the command line. Below is the output of what I think should work, but unfortunately doesn't.
$ gsettings get org.mate.power-manager lock-suspend
true
$ gsettings get org.mate.power-manager lock-use-screensaver
false
Is there some way for me to accomplish this?
Thanks!
