In mate-terminal, I want to move the tabs from the top to below the terminal area.
In konsole, it is a config option, Setting > Configure Konsole > TabBar
In gnome-terminal, it is a command (or dconf-editor), gsettings set org.gnome.Terminal.Legacy.Settings tab-position bottom
But I can't figure out how to do it in mate-terminal. Anyone figure it out?
If I put gnome-terminal and mate-terminal together, I'd have most everything I want

Re: mate-terminal tabs at bottom
So why not just use gnome-terminal? I haven't had the Mate edition installed recently but I don't remember the terminal being all that special.
