Assuming you meant the thumbnails, an Internet search on

Code: Select all

linux browser video thumbnails mate
--> https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/video-f ... nails/1952
Install ffmpegthumbnailer.

"File browser". A window manager .... manages windows (open, close, move, etc).

Edit: Oh, sorry, you mean the "file selector" of whatever program you're using to upload the files, not the file browser.

The "file selector" depends on the program - I have at least three different ones on three different programs. I think the only way to change them - to show thumbnails - is to change the program, IOW, Chrome instead of firefox, or vice-versa.

The cheap way to do it is to use the file-browser to select pictures and drag them into the uploaded (firefox, etc).
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

You can find - and install - ffmpegthumbnailer in the Software Manager or Synaptic. That's the best way to install any software, using the tools that Mint provides.

You might want to read this tutorial on how to install software:

Its not necessary to download and install software always. There is a way to download thumbnail in HD 4k. Just search thumbnail on facebook video upload and click the online tool in SERP.
