Clear History in file manager

Post by wpshooter » Wed Mar 07, 2018 6:03 pm

Can anyone explain to me exactly what history this is talking about in Linux Mint Mate file manager
under GO/CLEAR HISTORY ?

Are you sure you want to clear the list of locations you have visited?

Is this talking about folders and/or files or is this talking about something else ?

What are the consequences of clearing whatever it is asking about ?

Thanks.

The recently accessed documents in the Places > Recent Documents option. You should make sure this option is cleared if you don’t want others to see your activities.

No consequences

The visited directories are listed below Go/History. These will be cleared.
