Wallpaper displays with a 'double image' in LM Mate' 18.3
What would cause every wallpaper choice I make to display with a double image, specifically a smaller wallpaper image superimposed over larger a full size image, in Linux Mint 18.3 Mate'? I'm using an ASUS UX31E i7 laptop with Intel graphics driving a display resolution of 1600x900. Any help would be appreciated!..

SOLVED:
Got back to this today and found I had dual monitors enabled on this laptop, when in fact I'm only using the laptop monitor itself. Turned off the non-existent monitor in the Control Panel and no more double image wallpaper displays!..
