[SOLVED] Restore Desktop Panel After Update

Post by ecoalex »

Is there a way to undo an update?
After the last update to Mate Mint 17 , I have lost the use of the desktop tray. How can I fix this?

I posted in another thread , maybe the terminal displays shown will be a start?

Thanks

Not sure if i understood correctly what exactly got lost, you mean that you open apps, but when minimized they appear to have vanished?
If yes, right-click in the panel, Add to Panel, select & add Window List, that's it.

Else you could also reset Mate completely, open a terminal, type mate-panel --reset, hit enter...
