MATE crashed, immediately recovered.

A few minutes ago, all three monitors went blank, then I got a blinking cursor at the top left for a few seconds, then asked me to log in. Once I did, it was like I'd just turned of my computer, no applications appeared to be running.

This is the first time anything like this has ever happened since my adventure of trying to get the Nvidia 390 driver to work (which caused my computer to flat-out shut off randomly)

I wasn't taxing it much. I was transferring a large, ~2.7GB file to a network drive. I had Cura and Waterfox open, I was opening a second Waterfox window when it crashed.

Is there somewhere I can check, like a log, to see what may have caused the issue?
