I am currently using Mint 19 with the Mate desktop. I have never experienced this problem in the past with other versions of Mint and LMDE.
Basically what happens is certain applications show double icons in the taskbar. If I enlarge the panel size, It looks to be some sort of scaling issue. If I reset the mate panel using the terminal command, it will eventually start doing the same thing again. Can this be fixed or do I need to run an older version of Mint?
