Menu doesn't close
Hey guys,
I'm running Gloria, and it's been perfectly fine up until a couple of days ago. For some unknown reason now whenever I use the menu, it stays up instead of disappearing. So when I click a program to open it, the program opens but the menu is still stuck up infront of it!
If it helps, I'm running the 32-bit version

Re: Menu doesn't close
Perfect note!
I using Gloria x64
The common behavior is just click on a item, and quickly the menu fades down.
The enter key doesn't launch a item, depends of spacebar.
Make a brainstorm ...
But,
We have the best gnome's menu xD Thanks Mint

When you click on the Menu, there is a side bar on the left side. This hides Item Headers that have been double-clicked. (Places, System, etc.)
If you see a small icon in the upper left, click it to restore the hidden menu, and the Menu will auto-close like it was intended.

Re: Menu doesn't close
I've seen this behaviour before, this may have an effect if richyrich's post does not solve your problem,
Open up gconf-editor -> Apps -> mintmenu
Scroll down to "pin_menu", ensure it is not ticked, if it is not ticked - try checking it, reloading plugins in mintmenu, untick it - and reload plugins in the menu again.
*You can reload plugins in the mintMenu by right-clicking the menu -> Reload Plugins.
