[SOLVED] How do I view mate-panel's applications list on all workspaces?

So you know the mate panel's application list, right?
The apps that are open only show on the active workspace.
Why is that? That is so annoying.
Is there a way to have the complete apps list on all workspaces?

With the Mate desktop place the mouse pointer a little to the left of the listed applications and right-click.

I never investigated the popups.

They should place those settings somewhere else.
Very clunky place to put the settings. Not too obvious unless you know it's there.

It's mostly a theming issue. With the MATE default themes you see three vertical dots next to the window list applet so it's clear where to grab/right click. With the Mint default themes those don't show.
