Panel icon bug

Post by BloodyRain » Sat Apr 27, 2019 8:43 am

Hello, I have found a bug which is present both Linux Mint Mate 19.1 and Ubuntu Mate 18.04. Namely: when you right-click on bottom panel at desktop and choose "add to panel" and you add "Command" icon to the panel it will add a clock instead. Please double check if you also experience this issue.

The Command applet is pre-configured to show the output of date +%T command, that's why you see a "clock". :)

Maybe to clarify further: That function does not allow you to configure the applet before adding it (something for Monsta's to do list maybe ;)), so you'll have to right-click > Preferences on the "clock" you added to change the command to what you actually want.
