MenuLibre tutorial

Is there a tutorial for menuLibre? Basically how can i drag n drop software from one category to other (like in mint 19.1) ? And why when i create a custom launcher it shown twice in the menu? (when im hiding one of them, they both vanished and vice versa)

menulibre in MATE is useless for now.
Install mozo which was used in mint 19.1.

Agreed, menulibre will create issues, I have no idea why Clem thought it would be a good idea to default to it. To use mozo with the official version of the menu you'll have to uninstall menulibre. However, the mozo version in the official repositories is an outdated build as well which can break your menu if you try to drag & drop with it.

So I'd hold off on menu editing for now and hope for an update. Alternatively, my PPA (see my sig) has working and improved versions of both mozo and mintmenu if you want.
