Old but new again: Deep Freeze alternatives
I am setting up some laptops for public use and want to freeze them in a specific state. When trying to install Ofric and adding the PPA I got the message that it doesn't support focal. Any suggestions or alternatives? I have installed Mint MATE 20.1.

I say there is no Ofric. But regardless, you need to tell us how you tried to install Ofric and what the problem was. Instead of saying "I got the message that it doesn't support focal", you need to give us the exact error message.

What installation instructions are you following? I don't see any desktop software available here:
https://ofris.hp.nic.in/default.aspx
They do have a mobile app in the lower right corner.
