nm-applet

Post by c-m »

To use the network manager i have to manually type nm-applet at the terminal, this is despite it being set to run at start up.

Now i tried to uninstall the applet but it is not found.

I then searched synaptic and it cannot find the package either.

What the hell is going on?

I am using Mint 8 and my apt list is below:

You have some jaunty repos - watch out
No you can't find nm-applet installed - it's probably because it's several packages, but a bit strange I agree
I can't tell you why it does not autostart - there's no mystery with autostart....
I'll add this to my list and come back to you
