Removing window-list also removes Grouped-Window-List

well another new bug. if you add window list applet then you remove, it remove everything including the grouped window list. then you have to configure your new grouped list again

Thanks all. I've noted it on github. A workaround seems to be to copy an existing launcher and manually edit its properties to match those that you originally wanted to create!

The bug has been fixed in the source so fingers crossed another cinnamon update will come out fairly quickly.

If not to apply the fix now download the attached patch file

cinnamon-desktop-editor-c42a03a.py.patch

Then open a terminal in the download folder and run

sudo patch /usr/share/cinnamon/cinnamon-desktop-editor/cinnamon-desktop-editor.py < cinnamon-desktop-editor-c42a03a.py.patch

A thank you note to smurphos. Two new users on Stack Exchange were asking about the "new launcher here" bug. Using and referencing your posts I was able to affirm that the problem was known and was being fixed. Also recommended that in the future, they should look on Linux Mint Forums.
Tried the patch myself, and of course, it worked here too.
