Cinnamon - How Can I Add Launchers To Panel?

In Cinnamon I'd like to be able to add some other launchers/applets like Chromium along side Firefox, but I can't figure out how to do this, ahhhh I feel like such a newbie and this shouldn't be so complicated to do, right click and add, well I don't see this ability...

Also the 'get new applets' link in the settings doesn't do anything...

You can browse for programs in the Menu, right-click on them and choose "Add to panel"
The "Get new applet" button opens this webpage http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets. You can go there to download applets.

Ahh stupid me, I typically right click everything there is, but this time I forgot the menu, LOL...

You can add a Launcher from anything in the menu and then edit it to whatever you wish. There's probably a better way, but I haven't found it yet!

Just search on the start menu for the program for which you want to create the launcher. Simply 'right-click' on the program, and select 'Add to Panel'. Done. Then, to edit the location of the shortcut/launcher, simply right-click on the panel and select the panel edit mode. Then rearrange to your hearts content!
