Workspace keyboard shortcuts not working [SOLVED]

Since upgrading to LM13 from LM12, my keyboard shortcuts for switching workspaces and sending windows to other workspaces have stopped working. There are active shortcuts defined in the "Keyboard" system settings, but no matter what key combinations I assign, the shortcuts do not work. The only way for me to switch workspaces is via the "Workspace switcher" applet, and the only way to move windows around is by right clicking in the title bar and selecting the option to send to another workspace.

I was hoping this was a known problem and would be fixed in the latest version of Cinnamon, but it's still broken after the Cinnamon 1.6 update. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

I resolved this recently after upgrading to Cinnamon 1.6 (guess it should go in a FAQ): basically you have to use dconf-editor (package name is dconf-tools iirc) and go to org > gnome > desktop > wm > keybindings to set them.
