Disorganization of desktop icons in Cinnamon

Post by msoa »

Hello,
Most of the time when Cinnamon booted, desktop icons are disorganization. and Computer, Home and Trash icons that i eanbled those from there "Cinnamon Setting -> Desktop", are not shown on Desktop. Sometimes it solved by going to Terminal (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and command the "sudo service mdm restrat". However the problem is up most of the time.
Can anyone help?

Likely it solved with this solution (to remove nautilus)
But, dont exist a way for stop nautilus on startup without removing it?

By removed the Nautilus, now problems are lesser and softer, but sometimes the Desktop icons not shown, for show the Desktop icons certainly must run file manager (Nemo). I hope it solved in the next releases.

I think found the solution: (Ubuntu 12.04)
change the following:

Code: Select all

/etc/xdg/autostart/nautilus-autostart.desktop
to

Code: Select all

/etc/xdg/autostart/nautilus-autostart.desktop.disabled
My problem is approximately solved.
