this week (with desklets and some other commits) cinnamon has been a bit unstable but this is not the usual self; on the other hand this is a development branch and can break anytime.

the only thing i saw (with the 6th-8th updates) the wallpaper wasn't rendered (but if i alt+f2+r it was there for a 1/10 of a sec); in the 9th or 10th that issue went away;d00med wrote:Has the Cinnamon nightlies broken some applets for anyone else? as for the kernel: i had updated the xorg/drivers stack the day before to use intel's sna according to this using xorg-edgers and my little GM45 has new life;
all this to say that it works (very well) but i can't pin-point from were the main improvements came
and cinnamon+kernel 3.8 is really light
