Cinnamon 2.0 on debian 7

Hi,
I have installed cinnamon 2.0 on Debian 7 using this tutorial
http://segfault.linuxmint.com/2013/10/how-to-build-and-install-the-latest-cinnamon-from-git/
an all is working fine. Only the apperance of the windows is not what I want. I try to change the theme but the appearance (buttons ....) don't change.

How can I change the appearance of the content of the windows with a more beautiful style?

I had the same problem when I tried to install it on Debian (where Gnome was previously installed). The control panel icons also didn't seem to work correctly.
Someone suggested it was due to gnome dependencies leftovers (gnome-session, etc)... Sorry can't be of more help.

Is that Nemo on the screenshot? Try some other theme that has [url=http://segfault.linuxmint.com/2013/05/nemo-1-8-and-gtk-themes/]support for Nemo[/url], for example, Mint-X.

Hi,
I have tried to switch to Mint-x bu twith no effect.

I also tried to install some gtk-3 themes but I can only change de aspect of the button on the top of the windows.

It could be that some dependencies are missing but how can I check witch ones?
