[Solved] LM17 moving application tabs in the panel

Post by bigal »

When I have any applications open their tabs are always shown in the centre of the panel. I would much prefer them to be on the left but even if I drag them over, as soon as they are released they fly back to the centre.

Can anyone advise how to change this behaviour?

Right click the panel and select panel edit mode. Right click an application tab, hold and move to the left of your file folder indicator on the left side of your panel. Release and it should stick to the left of the file folder indicator. Then right click on the file folder indicator and move it to the left of your application tab. They should all be lined up on the left at that time. Right click the panel and click panel edit mode off.
Been there, done that, can't remember.

Many thanks for a clear and unambiguous reply russ553. That worked a treat.

It is a shame that panel edit mode does not include a 'format left/centre/right option. That would be too simple I suppose.

Cheers
