Hello,
I've a weird display bug and I don't know how to get rid about it.
It looks like this:
The menu is kind of "printed" on my desktop background. I can still use the real menu but this one doesn't want to leave !
I tried to change wallpaper, resolution, to switch from open to proprietary graphic drivers, downgrade and upgrade Linux kernel but nothing seems to work.
Does someone have an idea to make this "ghost menu" disappear?
PS: I'm running on Mint 17.3, 64bits Cinnamon edition.

Re: Display bug in Desktop
Try this:
Right click the menu button and select to configure. Click in the settings dialog the button on the top right and select to reset all settings (first command). Log off and back into your account.
