With Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca (Cinnamon)
Pressing both the right and left mouse buttons simultaneously pastes what was previously emphasized.
With the new version 18.2 Sonya (Cinnamon) this does not happen.
How can I continue to use this feature?
Do I have to install a previous version ?? What is the latest one that supports it?
Do you have other suggestions?

I am using Mint 18.2 (upgrade from 18.1 via the Update Manager). The middle-click to paste works fine.

I understand the problem. My new pc is an asus F555L
The touchpad does not allow simultaneously pressing the right and left keys.
I solved by simulating the central button in another way.
