Is it possible to have different shortcuts in the menu per workspace? I use one workspace for developing for example and would love to have shortcuts for specific apps either in the shortcut bar in the menu itself or in the shortcut bar on the panel.
Is it possible?

All workspaces share the same panel and the same panel settings, so this is not possible.
You might consider to create more than the first user account. Each account can get configured independently.

Thanks. I might have to go with another user then, but switching between users takes so much longer than switching between workspacesCosmo. wrote:All workspaces share the same panel and the same panel settings, so this is not possible.

Another option: Add another panel and place there another instance of the quick launcher applet. Now you can place the shortcuts for workspace 1 into the first applet and those for the second workspace into the other applet.
(Actually you could also place 2 quick launcher applets into the same panel, but this would possibly reduce the left space for the window list panel too much.)

The only Mint DE version that does this is KDE, using Activities. Shame they're going ti end the KDE version, since it's by far the most powerful DE. Guess I'll end up switching to Kubuntu or Neon. Too bad.
