I really like the window tiling and it is an important part of my regular workflow. However, tiling (by using hot keys) always tiles by half. Is there a way to change that? A common setup for me is to have a terminal, file browser, and a text editor open. The text editor is tiled on half the screen, but I'd like it to have more like 60-70%.
I looked for tiling in the Cinnamon source but couldn't find anything useful.
A nice feature would be to be able to change the relative position of the point in the middle of the screen used for tiling. An even better feature would be to be able to interactively change this position and the tiling by dragging with the mouse.
But for now I'm really just looking for some kind of number in a config file or so that computes the tiled window size.
