Customise Lock Screen Window

Postby marcusmaximus » Sat Nov 04, 2017 2:38 am

Is it possible to create widgets or edit the lock screen window? If I am listening to spotify and lock my laptop they have widgets on the lock sceen so I'm guessing it is possible.

My problem I have is every time I disconnect my external keyboard my the numlock state changes so when I try to log in again it's always takes a few attempts as there is no physical indication on the laptop to indicate if it's on or off (my laptop doesn't have a dedicated numpad). I need to use the function key along with another key to enable or disable numlock and it doesn't always seem to work.

I'm open to a configuration change to disable numlock changing state when the keyboard is plugged out, or reprogamming the capslock or power led on the laptop if possible, but creating a widget seems more fun.
