mint system settings & Display not showing

mint system settings & Display not showing

Hi, when i try to launch system settings & Display from the menu nothing happens.
any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

I ran inxi -Fxz and cinnamon-settings from the terminal...

Doing the google on
"IndentationError: expected an indented block" "cinnamon-settings"
seems to say it's a bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1733384

Can you roll back to an earlier version of cinnamon-settings ? (check in synaptic)
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

Please don't spam the forum with bug reports for Beta releases. These are test releases and you are advised to report bugs in the blog post for the release.
