Sound Effects bug?

Post by invex »

I'm using 18.3 but the following problem was in 18.2 as well.

All sound effects work fine except if there's no activity for about 30 seconds the sound effect won't work.
For example: No activity for about 30 seconds and then I minimize window there's no sound. If right after I restore window there's a sound effect.
It drives me crazy :)

It would probably be helpful to post the output of entering inxi -Fxz in a terminal. I probably can't help with that problem myself, but that command will give much of the information that those who can help you will want.

I don't know if it's relevant but sound output is set for HDMI.
