Hello, guys, i have a question.
When we change any settings in some cinnamon applet, where is this settings save ? I monitored my home folder with inotify but no files are changed in my home dir when i change the settings in any applet.
I also dumped the dconf but could not find any reference to the applet.
In this case the applet is the 'Icing Task Manager'
Where do cinnamon 3rd part applets store their settings ?

In your file manager, select show hidden files. It's probably in
.config
or any of the other hidden files and directories."There is, ultimately, only one truth -- cogito, ergo sum -- everything else is an assumption." - Me, my swansong.

Configuration for applets (also for desklets and extensions; the common expression is spice) get stored in the folder ~/.cinnamon/configs/the_name_of_the_spice). ~ is a shortcut for your home. Note that .cinnamon is a hidden folder, you need to make hidden files visible to see them in your file manager (ctrl-h).
