Do what the message tells you: Run chkdsk /f from Windows.

ican't open windows. when i installed linux next to windows I lost it.

You cannot correct the problem from within Linux. I don't use Windows, so wait for another user to jump in.

What was the problem? It could be vital for someone else to know. Plus, I'm curious.

Usually when I see input/output errors, it's a hardware issue.
