After years of utilization, and trying to push people to move on this really stable system, I'm facing constant crashes of cinnamon since 3 days. I'm not in confidante anymore with my OS, keeping a terminal open in case cinnamon crashes again, and this strange feeling I'm working on an unstable system that I don't trust. What a gap...
To help focus what's happening, here are some info and logs:
- I didn't update any kernel version since weeks
- I didn't updated cinnamon recently
- No new applets installed or removed since years
- I tried to revert the kernel, and tried few of them till 4.10. It affects all kernels.
- When I try to cinnamon --replace --display=:0 on another TTY, I have a segfaults error when I try to recover my cinnamon
