Memory leak in Cinnamon on LinuxMint 18.3

I have problems with memory leak on LinuxMint 18.3.
If I turn on my notebook at 9.00 am, then 7.00 pm 8 gb of 8gb ram and 4gb of 5 are filled.
In previous OS ubuntu 17.10 whith gnome 3 I also had problem whith memory leak. Only in gnome 3 - it gnome-shell, and in linux mint - it cinnamon.
I not have use same indicators.
I only install linuxmint, install chrome and skype. Chrome and skype not use mamory. Only process cinnamon.
Can you help me? I do not whant use kde or mate(

This isn't necessarily a memory leak. The kernel caches a lot of stuff as time goes by and frees it up when necessary. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on it. If the machine becomes laggy due to swapping under normal load then perhaps there is a problem. That said, there is no evidence of a general, large memory leak like that in Cinnamon otherwise a lot of people would be complaining.

I tryied wipe cache, but it not help me. I suppose what it cinnamon, because when I start notebook cinnamon uses ~300-500 mb, and in end work day cinnamon uses 5-6 GB!!! It abnormal.
And I don't know how troubleshooting this problem.
