Problems with LM Cinnamon on an Asus Zenbook

Hello everybody,
I've recently bought an Asus Zenbook UX310UQ and installed LM Cinnamon 18.3 on it: it works, but I've been surprised by some problems I met, not yet resolved by subsequent Cinnamon updates.

1. UI scaling is not perfect: the resolution of 1920x1080 on a 13.3" screen must be tricky to handle because I still can't feel perfectly ok with my screen, even after tweaking the font size (this is discounting the fact that older applications have problems scaling).

2. The Bluetooth applet shows BT is always on, even if I disabled it in the startup sequence. Is it just the applet, or is there a problem with BT activating even if I don't want it to? If it is the applet, why does it report BT as active?

3. Little glitches with the standard theme: on my desktop box I have arrows for column bars, f.i., but not on this laptop; I put the user applet on the right side of the bar, and there is a 1-2 pixel space meaning I can't activate it moving the cursor on the extreme right side.

4. Desktop icons move up as described in this bug: https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues/1674 This is quite annoying, and a bit worrying that the bug hasn't been fixed yet.

5. Last, but definitely not least, from time to time Cinnamon freezes: the only option is to turn the computer off and restart. Fortunately it doesn't happen that frequently, and I do realize that some regression is possible (especially when updating the kernel frequently because of the bugs that have to be fixed), but it is a really unpleasant feeling that I get every time, also consider that Windows hasn't done that yet!!!

All in all I'm still happy with Cinnamon, but I wonder why if feels so unstable and glitchy, especially considering that 18.3 being at the end of the 18 series should be more stable than previous versions. I hope Cinnamon 19 will fix these problems, focusing on refining and stability.

A few weeks later, I wonder how that may happen ... perhaps I should open an issue on GitHub? Has any developer opened one, or noted the problem?

In the meanwhile, my shiny new laptop continues to freeze randomly, and all the other problems I mentioned I still there. Please don't make me go back to Gnome or (ugh!) Windows ... this is a working tool for me, and I can't afford for it to be unreliable
