Mint X themes, including my favourite Mint X Aqua, is missing from the list of available controls in System Settings, but Aqua icons and panel theme are available.

What I have to reinstall to have all of Mint X themes back?
Recently I gave it a go with SoftMaker Office 2018 for Linux. I didn't like this office suite much and I uninstall it eventually. But this program messed a bit with the icons in my urs/share/ directory. THere's a chance it massed the theming a bit.

Re: Mint X style controls missing from the Theme selector in System Settings
It sounds, as if the package mint-x-icons are missing, but if you should have removed it, you would also have mint-themes, mint-artwork-gnome and mint-meta-cinnamon. So check for them all.
Re: Mint X style controls missing from the Theme selector in System Settings
I did:
and rebooted. But nothing changed. I still don't have my beloved Mint X Auqua controls colour scheme
mint-meta-cinnamon seems to not exist the Linux Mint repos.
To clear things out: I'm on Linux Mint 18.3 with all the updates applied.
Code: Select all
sudo apt reinstall mint-x-icons mint-artwork-cinnamon mint-themes-gtk3

Re: Mint X style controls missing from the Theme selector in System Settings
mint-meta-cinnamon does exist. In Mint 18.3 it is version 2017.09.19.
Another thing: Create a fresh new user account and check the available themes there.
