Everytime I log in and drives auto-mount, the icons stack up on top of each other on the desktop. I have to manually place them each time. Is there a way to fix this?

I have that same issue with LM 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit on 2 laptops, but not with LM 18.3 Mate 64-bit on 2 other laptops. I love Cinnamon, but Mate rules for me.
When Mate 19 comes out, I'm installing it on all my laptops, as it runs a wee-bit faster.
