What happens when you choose different mirrors?

i'll hijack this thread now that i have the same issue, and changing mirrors is not really a fix. i want to use this mirror because it's https and the fastest. what would be a proper fix for this mirror BADSIG A6616109451BBBF2 ?

Code: Select all

Err:11 https://mirrors.evowise.com/linuxmint/packages tina Release.gpg

The "evowise" mirror has been probably the most problematic mirror that has had a disproportionate amount of problems and has been reported many, many, many times...i used to use it a few years ago when i first started using linux because it was the fastest but who cares how fast it is if its not reliable...ive set mine to the main server instead and never looked back...one of the pluses being that main server is the first to have the latest updates while mirrors get it after the main...no speed problems or availability or signature problems...DAMIEN

PS...have no idea what you mean by,
what would be a proper fix for this mirror
since evowise mirror itself is the problem....not Linux Mint...How does one "fix" either by terminal code or otherwise, a seperate entity not belonging to LM ? "evowise.com" does not belong to LM.

In my experience (and judging by forum threads around here) evowise is a terrible mirror causing lots of problems, you can like fix your issue by switching to a different mirror instead.
karlchen, Moem as well as gm10 as well as many others have commented on this...why cling to something that just doesnt function correctly?...no more to say on this matter.
