Deleted icons of Desktop and Downloads

Hi everyone, Ive got a problem with the icons/folders. Normally I had my Home Catalog in which there were folders 'Desktop' and 'Downloads' and of course some of my other folders. I did sth wrong and put the 'Desktop' icon to one of my folders and then couldnt take it out back. Later i have deleted it as 'Downloads' also but the 'Downloads' folder is always being created as new after downloading anything in Firefox. Now I have a hard situation that in my Home Catalog are the same things as on desktop, it works as desktop and is it is like being consolidated, whats in home is also at desktop, the same with all the operations which i do. How can i achieve things go normally? Thanks
