Rearrange icons in the System Tray

Is this possible? They aren't movable manually in there.
Is there somewhere to set the order these icons load into the System tray?

This is purely cosmetic: looking for the aesthetically pleasing colour configuration for that corner of the desktop.
I notice that every time I restart, these particular icons are loaded in a different order. How is this order determined by the system?
Surely this can't be as randomly assigned as it looks?

Sorry I'm not aware of any method to control the order of icons in the stock system tray. I'm guessing the tray populates in the order that applications start after boot which isn't guaranteed.

If you install the third party applet Collapsible SysTray available via the downloads tab of the Applet Settings module - you can get a bit more control - it has an option to sort by application name and tweaking the active/inactive settings can further refine the order. Plus you get the option to 'collapse' the system tray entirely..

It would help to know more about your system setup like which version of Linux Mint Cinnamon you have. If you run "inxi -Fxzd" and "lsusb" from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information.
