Hi All!
Is there a generic, global setting that will turn what now requires 'click' into requiring 'double-click' and what now requires 'hover' into requiring 'click'?
...I have tried to find such a setting for months, ...years. Individual apps often have no such individual settings.
Thanks!
PS: Is there a focus-stealing prevention setting or utility that actually works?
'click' --> 'double-click' & 'hover' --> 'click'

I've never seen a truly "global" setting, but I believe there are settings unique to each desktop environment. I run KDE and there is a simple setting in the "System Settings" applet.
What DE are you running?
Edit: Sorry, I see this is posted in the Cinnamon forum.
I believe the setting can be found in the "system settings" for Cinnamon. I don't remember the exact wording and I no longer have a Cinnamon machine to look it up.
