How to disable the middle mouse button

Post by dmsumon »

Linux Mint has a feature and it is "From the panel/taskbar if I click the middle button of my mouse on any program then the program closes without any notice" I just want to disable the feature cause sometimes I accidentally click on middle mouse button and loss my works without any notice. :( Please help me how can I disable this feature? I do not need it. Thanks in advance. :)

the issue is, that the middle button, like the right button,
is context specific - - that is, it varies with what is being accessed at the time.

EG: if I've clicked on this thread with that middle button,
then Firefox will open that in a New tab.
8)

even from - Menu- Control Center - - Hardware - Mouse - - there is few Mouse Settings that can be changed.

He gave the context: "panel/taskbar"
It might be desktop dependent since I don't see the behavior.

so I'm not able to duplicate that behavior, either.
- but, your link may just work.
