Cannot access files

Cannot access files

I just did a fresh install of 18.2 and lo and behold, I cannot access 2 of my disk drives.
Are there any global commands that I can enter so that I can grab root privilges of these disks ?

Further to this, it's sdb1 that is mounted as /media/hexdump/MyData.
And I want it mounted as /media/MyData.
Also, I want the standard /home to point to MyData/hexdump

I try and keep the users files on a separate drive as it makes installing a new operating system a lot easier.

I dont know how to do this without messing up.
