I just connected a monitor to linux mint, something I've done many times.
This time the desktop on the 2nd monitor was acting buggy. Going full screen or trying to a window to the left/right half of the screen wasn't behaving properly. I rebooted and now that works.
However I'm left this this little quirk now, all my desktop icons got pinned to the main monitor in the wrong place. I can just barely see the top of the set of icons in the bottom left, and I can't move them up to the desktop. I also can't drag a file onto the desktop except for the very bottom left where the icons have ended up.
