Just upgraded from mint 18.3 to 19.
and each time i login i get the message that cinnamon is in software rendering mode.
it does not matter if i use nvidia or my intel card.
the drivers of nvidia and intel seems correctly installed.
i also tried to some suggestions as to use the `libegl-mesa0` package
but this was already installed.
Graphics: Card-1: Intel HD Graphics 530
Card-2: NVIDIA GP106M [GeForce GTX 1060 Mobile]
Display Server: x11 (X.Org 1.19.6 ) drivers: modesetting,nvidia (unloaded: fbdev,vesa,nouveau)
Resolution: 1920x1080@60.02hz
OpenGL: renderer: GeForce GTX 1060/PCIe/SSE2 version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 390.48
nvidia drivers version: 396
any suggestions?

switched to nvidia driver 390
and it seems to be solved now
