cinnamon laggy

I am not sure is it just me, that after upgraded to Linux Mint 19, the new cinnamon become laggy after using for a while.
It was snappy when just booted, and after I use it for a while, it became laggy when I drag windows, or scroll my browser and etc. I then use “cinnamon --replace” to restart the cinnamon and it goes back to normal and responsive again.

I have a I7-4710mq CPU, 250GB SSD, and 24GB ram, so I don't think the hardware is under requirement.
Anyone else has the same issue?

No obvious issues jump out from your inxi output. Have you applied yesterdays kernel upgrade to 4.15.0-29? That might make a difference - kernel -24 was problematic for some folks on some hardware.

If it still lagging have you got any third party applets / desklets / extensions installed? It would be worth disabling them and seeing if there is any difference.
