I have a working "Linux Mint Cinnamon" system for a year+ now. I changed out the CPU and went from an Athlon II X3 425 to an FX-6300 but I never changed a component in Linux that required a driver to operate. In a few short weeks I am planning to change the video card from a GT 610 to a GTX 660 Ti. In Windows you simply go to the Device Manager and uninstall the driver of the card you are going to remove first. Then just swap out the cards and install the driver.
What do I do in Linux Mint Cinnamon first.?
