Left over artifacts

Post by poliltimmy » Mon Jul 30, 2018 9:57 am

Mint 19 CE woes.
Is anyone getting left over artifacts on their screen? Like the counter on vlc staying there after you have fast forward or rewinding the video by dragging the progress bar. Or the panel pops up as you are doing so? Or after hovering over a 'see more' link a story or page the whole button stays on the page. If I try to grab a screen shot they disappear.

Mint !9 CE woes.
Does !9 = 19? And CE = ? ***
Is anyone getting left over artifacts on their screen?
No, not here.
If I try to grab a screen shot they disappear.
Most screen-shot programs have a delay - start the screen-shot program, set the delay to "enough", then get your problem up on the screen. *** Posting the results of an "inxi -Fxz" wouldn't hurt either.
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

Reason: Adding [code] tags. They retain some formatting that makes your output easier to read.

It is the tool tip pop up that does not always go away. Anyone that is not going to admonish me for typos or formats got any ideas?

Asking for clarification, and helping you format your post better, is what you consider admonishing? Okay then.
Good luck, I hope you find a solution.

If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!

You are correct. I should not have lumped your help in with someone who could not understand my comment of....
If I try to grab a screen shot they disappear.
I apologize.
