How can I set a label on a dm-crypt+LUKS container?

Post by achmonth »

I found a thread asking the same question here, but the answer isn't working for me:
https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... -container

I have multiple encrypted dm-crypt+LUKS partitions on my PC, all of them having EXT labels.
They can easily be separated by labels when unlocked, but when locked all I see in Nemo is "X GB Encrypted".

Do anybody know how I can make Nemo show these partitions by name instead of size?
I tried adding udev rules like in the answer in the link above, but it did nothing for me.
Dm-crypt+LUKS doesn't allow me to put a label on the partition itself, but I have named the partitions via Gparted.
Nemo doesn't show these names either.

Any tips would be much appreciated!
